The Strategic Purchasing & Sourcing course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the key principles, practices, and strategies involved in the purchasing and sourcing functions within modern businesses. The course delves into the fundamental concepts of supply chain management, emphasizing the strategic role of purchasing in achieving organizational objectives.

An introduction to the theory and practice of quantitative modeling and optimization, with applications to computer simulation and business resource management. Possible topics include linear and nonlinear programming, network analysis, game theory, deterministic and probabilistic models. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
