Interprofessional Education (IPE)

IPE 111  -  Health Professions Terminology,  1 credits.  

This course offers students learning, engagement, and exposure to the dynamic language of healthcare. Designed as an interdisciplinary course, students will gain a broad understanding of health professions terminology through reading, discussions, activities, and business application through cases as they apply the terms learned.

Frequency: Every Semester  
IPE 305  -  Introduction to Epidemiology,  4 credits.  

Epidemiology is the study of the distribution and determinants of health and disease in different human populations and the application of methods to improve disease outcomes. This course is designed as an introduction to the fundamental principles and methods of epidemiology, including contributions to the field of pubic health.
