The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work
The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work was established as an outreach center for the community and a resource center for the college. The purpose of the center is to develop and enhance ethics-centered and value-based leadership for individuals and organizations through information, networks, programs and consultation. Activities for the Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work include but are not limited to:
- Leadership and Ethics events for the wider Fargo-Moorhead community
- Occasional conferences and/or workshops on issues related to ethics, leadership, values, and work
- Occasional book/article discussions in Jeffersonian style dinners focused on ethics, values, work and leadership
- Presentations to groups and organizations on topics germane to the work of the center
- Annual faculty and staff workshop on Values and Capitalism
- And other convenings, conversations, presentations and participation at a local, national or international level on faith and work topics
